Yan Sun looks a little ruffled by Jessica's questioning. "Wh-... I-... I don't know!" she exclaims defensively, still a little self-conscious, but her mood seems lighter, laced with amusement and a warm intimacy. "It's just a fantasy I have! It's not like I have a plan thought out," she says through a laugh, her own thumbs feeling the sides of Jessica's ribs through her top, fingers spread across her back.

Jessica scoffs, a frown crossing her features. She narrows her eyes on Yan Sun conspiratorially. "Mm. Fine." she relents. "But I am going to make this happen, kitty cat." she adds, her tone making what should be a vow sound more like a threat. She punctuates it with a little lift of her brows, her right doing less work than her left. "Now drink." she orders, one hand leaving Yan Sun's side to bring the bottle of baijiu up. "And you
Yan Sun can't quite keep the grin off her face as she accepts the bottle of baijiu from Jessica. Without protesting Jessica's blatant disregard for her own rules, she takes her first swig from the bottle, bringing the hand gripping it to her lips afterwards to muffle the choked noise that follows her downing of the harsh liquor. She takes a moment to catch her breath and brace herself, but then goes right into her second drink, determined
not to give Jessica any room to mock her. A hissed "Khhhhh..." and cough follows the second sip, grimacing as she lowers the bottle into the limited space between the two of them. A giggle follows after she recovers, and she tilts her head to the right, her hair falling away from her face as she watches Jessica with a big grin. "You're pretty great, you know?"
Jessica cocks an eyebrow, grin slipping back out. "This is your question, yes?" she teases, one hand resting idly against Yan Sun's hip as the other lays atop her leg. She makes an exaggerated face of consideration. "Mmm. I do know this." she replies matter-of-factly with an accompanying nod. "And you are getting drunk already, I am thinking." she muses.
Yan Sun rolls her eyes. "No, it's not," she replies, getting in Jessica's face as she does, but her smile quickly returns. "And I'm not drunk," she adds, although the veracity of that statement is eroding quickly. Her left hand shifts to Jessica's neck, thumb tracing the edges of the burns on her cheek as she speaks again, voice quieter. "I just love you." The words are accompanied by simple, soft smile, and followed by Yan Sun leaning in to
press a quick kiss to Jessica's lip, having no expectation or need for a verbal response. Her breath carries the sting of the baijiu and her lips taste of flowers.
Jessica breaks eye contact as soon as the words leave Yan Sun's mouth. It's not often that Jessica looks flustered, but the declaration definitely has her off balance. While it's not the first time those words have been uttered, something about this feels different. It was easier to move past it before. Emotions were high. They were both exhausted. It was easier to discount it afterwards as something stupid said in the heat of the
moment. To act like it didn't mean anything. But now... the ease in which it's said? So casually. Comfortably. It almost sounds like something real. It almost sounds like something she deserves. Almost. Her eyes briefly close, the slight sting in her lower lip from the pressure the kiss puts on her fresh piercings barely even registering. And when Yan Sun pulls back, her eyes peel open, focusing on her partner's lips. She licks
her own, doing her best to dispel that feeling in her chest, whatever it is, and will her composure back into place. "Mm." she hums, trying on a cocky grin like it's a suit of armor. It doesn't quite fit this time, and her eyes bounce off of Yan Sun's, returning right back to her lips. "You are not too bad, either..." she says, the words sounding quieter than intended but doing her best to keep up the act. "...I guess."
Yan Sun snickers softly, the sound little more than an exhaled breath. a slight smile lingering as she studies Jessica with a thoughtful look in her eye. She doesn't comment on the transparency of her affected cockiness, instead announcing that "I think I'm going to steal your question..." A grin and a shrug. "It was good. So... your turn. What's something you want to do that you've never told anyone?" she asks, index finger of her left hand
playing with Jessica's neck stubble while her right hand still grips the bottle wedged between the two of them.
Jessica gives a roll of her eyes, cocking her head to one side in disapproval. "Stealing questions is-... gah! I should make you drink more for this." she says. One of her hands settles overtop the hand Yan Sun has on the bottle, as if considering it. She seems to decide against it and draws in a heavy breath before expelling it out through her nose. "Fine... I-..." she starts before stopping abruptly. "Is really stupid and boring!"
Yan Sun giggles, looking pleased with herself at Jessica's grumbling. "That's okay!" she assures in response to her caveat. Adding "As long as it's honest..." as she watches her and waits for her to continue, idly wiggling a little from side to side.
Jessica gives Yan Sun a quick, unamused look. "I am always honest!" she lies. But as she realizes she's expected to actually answer the question her gaze drifts out towards the city. "I say to you before that I spend all of my thime-... time at Burd's, yes?" she reminds. When she looks back to Yan Sun, she gives a shrug, as if to reinforce the notion that what she's about to say is, indeed, stupid and boring. "I am always
thinking that maybe when me and Martin are coming to Earth I would open my own tattoo place." A sheepish smile tugs at the corner of her mouth and a snort slips out as she shakes her head at the memories playing out in the back of her mind. "Even when I am only having-... I don't know? A few years? I am always drawing and-..." she shakes her head, seemingly deciding that she's said enough. "I told you it is stupid."
Yan Sun 's face lights up with something close to wonder, a warm smile on her lips that keeps growing. "That's not stupid at all!" she protests, the glow of her cybernetics illuminating a slight shine of moisture in her eyes. Her thumb brushes across Jessica's cheek as she watches her with fresh fondness. "You've already got one happy customer right here..." she points out, nodding her head down at her own body to indicate the cartoon cat
hiding under her clothes. The same cat that now adorns her online presence in digitized doodle form.
Jessica gives a dismissive roll of her eyes to conceal any lingering discomfort over the admission. "Was just a stupid idea." she insists, her hand that's on the bottle stealing it away from Yan Sun to lift it between them so she can take her sip, as per the rules (which she most certainly respects!). She returns the bottle to its resting spot, her other hand remaining on Yan Sun's waist, fingertips fidgeting with the hem of her jeans.
"Is not as fun as the things that you are wanting to do." she adds with a mischievous grin, seemingly deciding she'd rather pass her discomfort onto Yan Sun.
Yan Sun shakes her head in protest of Jessica calling the idea 'stupid', but the distraction maneuver that follows her drink is immediately effective, drawing a flustered laugh from Yan Sun, who looks off to the side with a muttered "Shut up..."
Jessica chuckles, leaning in to press a quick kiss to Yan Sun which just barely catches the edge of her lips as she turns away. "Okay-... okay, is my turn." she announces, continuing to linger close in her personal space. Not that there's a whole lot of non-personal space left given the way they're intertwined. She has that telltale grin that makes it clear that the baijiu is at least having a little bit of an effect on her, working up
a comfortable buzz. "Why-... after all of the shit that we have done. All of the shit that I have done to you!" she corrects with a little snicker, leaning a bit heavier into Yan Sun to press a quick, annoying peck against her cheek. "Why you are still getting all-... weird whenever we are talking about sex? Mm?" she asks, clearly still pondering their previous discussion.
