#SunTower – August 25, 2026

Getting out of the Hourglass Club turns out to be simpler than getting in - after an elevator ride down to the lower half of the place, they're able to just stroll out the front door with the staff none the wiser. Soon enough the two of them are back in the sleek, private skycar that had been circling while waiting for them, and now they're closing in on the landing pad of the penthouse they left earlier in the evening.

Jessica doesn't linger and, soon, the only sign that the pair were ever even in the club is a set of abandoned glasses, their rims decorated with blue and black imprints. Hoodie strewn over her shoulder, she's nuzzled up to Yan Sun in the back seat of the car, pressing warm, lingering kisses against the crook of her neck, unaware and unconcerned with their imminent arrival at the penthouse.

Yan Sun 's giggles come to an abrupt stop when the car door slides open to cool night air - they've landed. She casts a slightly startled glance outside, as if half-expecting her father to be waiting there with a disapproving frown, but on confirmation that this is not, in fact, the case, she pries herself away from Jessica's intense attentions, hand shifting from the back of her head to her hand as she gives it a tug to pull her along as

she stumbles out of the car. "Whuop!" she exclaims, a little unbalanced by the disembarking.

Jessica seems far less concerned with whether or not Sau is lingering about. As a matter of fact, he's about the last thing she wants to think about right now. Laughter begins to spill out as she once again finds herself being tugged along by Yan Sun. But that works both ways so as soon as they're away from the landing pad, she uses her grip on Yan Sun's hand to jerk her back, her other hand slipping around her lower back to pull her in

close.

Yan Sun gasps in surprise as she's reeled back at the top of the stairs, free hand planted suddenly over Jessica's heart. "I said I wanted to take you back to my room! Not the rooftop!" she laughs in protest, but she's not making much of an effort to get out of Jessica's arms, face red from drinks and laughter, and a big, warm grin on her lips as she meets her gaze.

Jessica snickers, her hand finding its way to the small of Yan Sun's back, heart beating against the palm of her hand. Her fingertips strum playfully at the waistline of her skirt and she leans in, nuzzling the side of her nose alongside Yan Sun's as she lets out an annoyed sound. "But your room is soooo far away..." she drawls playfully, her grin felt this close.

Yan Sun lets out a breath, involuntarily squirming a little at the feeling of Jessica playing with her skirt. "Myeah, it's a lot comfier, though," she manages to retort breathlessly, the words accompanied by the sweet, alcoholic smell of her drinks. Her hand slips from Jessica's heart up her shoulder, to her neck, pulling her in for a quick, sloppy kiss before leaning back, trying to urge her along down the stairs without really leaving her

arms.

Jessica presses into the kiss, the ball on her tongue and the two protruding from her lips still a foreign feeling. She lets out another frustrated noise as Yan Sun begins leaning back, causing her to widen her stance and take a few small steps without releasing her grip on Yan Sun before tilting her head back and letting out a heavy sigh. "Fine, fine..." she relents, loosening her grip on her partner, grin ever present.

Yan Sun leads the way quickly down the stairs, although progress is slowed somewhat both by her drunken lack of coordination and her refusal to stray very far from Jessica. As the door to the penthouse proper opens, however, she turns more cautious, however, a little crouched as she sneaks almost comically ahead, on the lookout for any sign that her father is still up and about.

Jessica continues to follow, laughter spilling out as Yan Sun clumsily navigates the staircase. But as they reach the penthouse door, even she seems to realize that they should at least try and be cautious. If for no other reason than to avoid wasting time exchanging awkward words with Lord Fuckface. Unfortunately, Yan Sun suddenly shifting into secret agent mode is nearly enough to make her lose it. First she merely watches her in

confusion, brow pinching together as she attempts to decipher what it is she's actually trying to do. But once it settles in that this is Yan Sun's 'sneak walk', she's forced to clasp a hand over her own mouth as muffled laughter erupts from her. Somewhere amidst the muffled laughter an equally muffled "You are such a fucking fool." slips out.

Yan Sun shoots Jessica a scowl and a hissed "Shut up!" before reaching over to swipe her hand over the interface to the staff corridor and pulling her along into it as she navigates quickly through the simple hallway. "This way." The lights in the penthouse are dimmed, but still enough to navigate by without issue, the only sound outside of the two of them the flowing water of the antechamber decorations and the distant humming of the

fridge.

Jessica flaps a hand at Yan Sun to wave her off, her laughter slowly fading away, but leaving behind a big, annoying, slightly drunken smirk. As she's pulled along once more, she does not, in fact, mime Yan Sun's international espionage posture. She merely walks along behind Yan Sun, looking quite amused. At least she has the common decency to put on a stage whisper when she finally speaks up. "You know he can probably still see you

even if you are ducking, yes kitty cat? It does not make you invinci-... invin-... invisible!" Her own stammering is nearly enough to start the laughter back up but she manages to clamp down on it.

Yan Sun pre-emptively brings a hand up to cover Jessica's mouth as she opens the door to the main corridor and pokes her head out to look around. "I'm not just trying not to be seen, I'm trying not to be heard, so shhh!" she whispers loudly, starting to move on as light feet as she can manage towards the door to her room - her boots don't exactly make it easy.

Jessica's snort is suppressed against the palm of Yan Sun's hand, and she nods her head a number of times, humming an, "Mm." in affirmation. She glances about as she follows Yan Sun towards the bedroom.

Yan Sun almost seems surprised that Jessica actually complies, but she's not going to waste it, hurrying over to her door and stopping briefly in front of it as she unlocks the door, only fumbling the interface for a brief moment before getting it right, shoulders slumping in relief as the door slides open with a hiss.

Jessica excitedly hurries behind, glancing back over her shoulder to keep watch as Yan Sun begins tapping at the interface. As soon as she hears the door begin to open she begins nudging Yan Sun's shoulder for her to hurry inside, laughter already beginning to bubble up in her throat once more.

Yan Sun is inevitably set off as soon as she picks up on Jessica being on the verge of laughter, muffled giggles of her own starting to sound, escaping as choked snorts. She's quick to lean past Jessica to close the door behind them and finally give the two of them some privacy.

Jessica's laughter finally slips out as the door closes and she slumps against the wall just beside the door, big ear-to-ear grin on her face as her shoulders bounce. "You are sooo stupid-..." she manages, her focus settling on Yan Sun.

Yan Sun manages to get her laughter under control first, and lingers just in front of Jessica, leaned against her hand still on the door. She scrunches up her face in a goofy expression somewhere halfway between thoughtful and offended. "Mm, what does that make you, considering you're still here with me?" she fires back with a grin and a leftover snicker. She tilts her head to the side and raises her eyebrows questioningly.

Jessica's laughter slowly fizzles out when Yan Sun voices her playful question, unspoken thoughts almost enough to be sobering. The question leaves her merely staring at Yan Sun, smile heavy and the glassiness in her eye from far more than just the drinks she's consumed tonight. She draws in a deep breath, leaning a little heavier against the wall, smile tempering into something softer. Something a bit less energetic.

Yan Sun looks a little caught off-guard by the shift in Jessica's mood, her own sobering a little in response. Her eyebrows pull together as her slightly hazy gaze travels across the face in front of her before meeting her eyes again. "What are you thinking about...?" she asks, the quiet words filling the silent room easily now that they're far from the chaotic noise of the club.

Jessica shakes her head, gaze remaining fixed to Yan Sun for a bit longer before she finally musters up the energy to answer. "You." she says simply.

Yan Sun ducks her head, a fresh blush painting her cheeks as a soft breath slips out. The small smile that crosses her lips is softer than anything that preceded it earlier in the evening, and painfully sincere. "Oh." A barely audible, flustered noise, halfway to a short laugh. "Uhm, what about me?" she asks, lower lip pinched between her teeth as her gaze rises to meet Jessica's once more, left eye glowing bright in the dim of the room.
